Administration and process of DPV-Wiss projects

Administration and process

In cases where DPV-Wiss publications are financed by the Competence Network Diabtes mellitus, it is imperative to quote the disease related Competence Network Diabetes mellitus (KKNDm):

English: "This work was supported by the Kompetenznetz Diabetes mellitus (Competence Network Diabetes mellitus)" funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (FKZ 01GI1106).

German: "Die Arbeit wurde unterstützt durch das Kompetenznetz Diabetes mellitus" gefördert vom Deutschen Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (Förderkennzeichen 01GI1106).

According to BMBF, the English version of the text in inverted commas is also binding. If it is permitted by a journal, the sponsorship code can also be stated.
Furthermore, the Competence Network Diabetes mellitus should, if possible, be additionally stated in the title or abstract of publications, as well as in the text body e.g. under Materials and Methods, otherwise in the key words.

The German Competence Network for Diabetes mellitus is integrated in the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD) as of January 2015. For publications with participation of the DZD, please include the following phrase in the affiliation with a corresponding number of the author:

English: "German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD)"

German: "Deutsches Zentrum für Diabetesforschung (DZD)"
